What are the dimensions of the fence guard security strips?

Each strip is 45mm wide and 500 mm long.

They can be cut along the length to form three strips 14mm wide.

They can be cut across the width at 20mm intervals or greater.

How many strips do I need?

A standard fence panel would require three strips. However, we recommend measuring your fence, wall or other surface you wish to cover then use our fence guard calculator to work out the number of strips needed.

Where can I use the fence guard security strips?

They can be bent, cut and shaped to go almost anywhere, for example:

• Fence tops
• Fence Posts
• Gates
• Walls
• Pipes
• Sills

How do I attach the fence guard security strips?

They can be nailed screwed glued or tied.

For wooden fences we recommend using 3.5mm x 16mm screws.

If you are using glue then we recommend butyl and solvent based sealants which will adhere better to plastic.

We also recommend roughening the base to provide a key for the adhesive.

Are they legal?

Fence guard security strips are designed to give maximum discomfort but with minimum harm.

They conform to all safety and legal requirements and are recommended by the police.

The design registered points are sharp so great care should be taken when unpacking.

Steps should be taken to display warning notices where appropriate.
